    First off my favourite colour, well-known to those around me, is BLUE. Outside of work I am an avid sports enthusiast with a deep passion for football and coaching. I also enjoy reading, taking long dog walks and spending quality time with my family. With 12 years of experience in youth work, I bring a wealth of expertise from across various youth services and organisations, my background includes roles as a youth worker, a lead youth SEND worker, substance misuse youth worker, advocate for young people, homelessness intervention worker, crisis intervention worker and within the youth offending service. Working with young people is my true calling, driven by a belief that every young person deserves a positive role Model and a safe environment to express themselves, learn and flourish.

    I bring over eight years of youth work experience to the Colwall Youth Project. I hold a degree in journalism and am currently pursuing a master's in youth and community work at Wrexham University, combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience.

    My journey has included roles in education as the Safeguarding Lead at a large secondary school in Hereford and leading a Prince's Trust Team at Young Gloucestershire, where I supported young people in building confidence, skills, and employability.

    I also volunteer as an Emergency Responder with St John Ambulance, which reflects my passion for community service. Through my work, I strive to create safe, supportive spaces where young people can thrive and achieve their potential.

    Finance Officer

    Currently, I am balancing part-time work with Colwall Youth Project, while pursuing my passion for print making, exhibiting with the Worcestershire guild contemporary craft. I am never happier than when buried in a spreadsheet or pulling Prints. My work has always combined finance and art in one way or another and I have always enjoyed business and creativity in equal measure.

    In my spare time I write plays, poetry and stories, with the goal of publishing a novel before I turn 40. I enjoy performing at events, sharing both my own original music and spoken word poetry. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am passionate about creating a safe space at colwall youth project for young people to come out to.

    Youth Worker

    I am passionate about both sports and technology. I actively participate in football playing for a team as well as recreationally and I enjoy engaging with young people through sport. Additionally, I am an active member of the sea Cadets. While I am serving my youth career with cowall youth project, I have observed the significant impact we as a project have had on young people's development and growth, which has been incredibly fulfilling.

    Youth Worker / Wellbeing Adviser (CLD Trust)

    I enjoy watching and reading comics and anime, spending time with friends and playing computer games. After returning from a year in Jersey, I took on the role as a youth worker at the CLD trust working in partnership with a colwall youth project. Transitioning to my role working with young people has been a significant change, but I am immensely grateful for the opportunity and the rewarding experiences it has provided.

    Mental Health Youth Worker (CLD Trust)

    When I am not at work you will usually find me out on the horses, tending to houseplants or Working on something creative. Previously working as a mental health support worker with a degree in fashion design, I accepted the role of a mental health youth worker at the CLD trust in partnership with colwall youth project, integrating my Passion for creativity. I Am currently training as an art physiotherapist combining creativity with youth work. I provide a unique and supportive approach with young people to express themselves. I am passionate about advocating for their mental health and empowering them to access the necessary services and support.
